Just an old dog, scratching my fleas, barking at the moon and any noise in my neighborhood. Nothing more to learn here, so go back to the main site

PS I am also a clumber lover… take care of one old and darling clumber.
Oh, and it’s “Barkings” of an old dog, not “Rantings” - although maybe they are not as distinguishable as I would have hoped!
i notice you have linked my arthur russell you tube video mate .
its a fine tune by a great artist
Hey, old dog! I like your blog. I’ve even copied a thing or too… hope you won’t mind.
B&W,
No problem… most of my stuff is cribbed from someone else anyway!
woof out to ya!
Hiya Clumber,
Thought I’d pay you a visit as you were so kind to visit my blog and compliment my dogs.
I love your blog also, but then, now can I not, dog lover to dog lover?
Yep, from what you commented to me, Clumbers are big … but I don’t think anything can come close to the black-hole like gravity of a basset. Bruno is 50-something pounds (on May 17th, when he was “tutored”, the vet weighed him at 51# — he’ll be a year old on 7/10). But that low center of gravity makes it a challenge to pick him up to load him in the car. Thank goodness for all those wrinkles around his neck! They come in handy for lifting (with support under the hindquarters of course).
Just a note to say, love the site, love the banner pic. I also am a dog person. I have two geriatric Terror mixes who rule all, and a new five-month-old Irish Wolfhound pup, who is just learning about living inside a house and being snuggled and all that.
Perhaps the asshat near the bottom of this be fashioned into a pointy hat for the ABC?
