Every day, the good people on the ‘orthodox‘ side of this church write up and theorize on the least little fart that comes out of a bishop, a priest, or a newspaper article on the Episcopal Church. And they seem to do it within minutes of it hitting the web.
Well here we are, three four five six seven days later after a responsible journalist has a published article in a mainline magazine about one of their primary leaders in the Church of Schism, and we have nada from the T19 and Standfirmine camp. Nothing. Bupkis. Zilch. Diddly-squat.
Are they not proud of their leader? Do they not see the wonderful example of Christian love that this is? Are they not on fire for Evangelism as practiced in Yelwa? Do they not see the one holy path to God that Big Pete has established for them? Perhaps we’ll hear of a bunch of Lenten sermons today pouring out from the CANA people about the need for greater enthusiasm for bringing Christianity to the non-Christian world… about the need to guard the faith and witness for Christ while not tolerating Satan in our midst. Or not. Well, everything that happens in TEC ain’t pretty, and some of it we aren’t real proud of, but at least it’s out there to be talked about and thought about.
So how about it, Reasserters? How’s that load of dirty laundry coming? Gonna bring it out in the open anytime soon?
