I love baseball.
The smell of hotdogs on the grill.
The massive pop-ups into the sun.
The grass so green it hurts your eyes.
Even the movies about baseball, too.
Field of Dreams. Bull Durham. The Lou Gehrig Story.
So the big question, as we come down the September home stretch has to be “what’s the score?”
My numbers are undoubtedly wrong, but I think the direction is right. And surely my heart is right.
Update: And there we are, as Kenya scores 2 more in the bottom of the inning.
Sadly, this whole “Southern Gang” thinks that it’s okay for them to score runs in this, but heaven forbid that TEC should even think about doing similar. Too bad this game seems to be played without a home plate ump.
