Percy the Parson Terrier has unearthed something! It’s not BC, but JC… Oh my!
Wait, perhaps all of us dogs have that… Nope, I guess not. Mine looks like Benny.

I’m sure you’re looking at the title of this and thinking, huh?
16 May 2007 was the last post from our beloved Brother Causticus of St. Euphemesius-By-The-Freeway (Still) Episcopal Church.
While all our dear clergy are entitled to a week or two off now and again, this lengthy hiatus has a number of the faithful concerned. Comment posts at the site have been unanswered and I believe the faith of his readers is being tested. While I might hope that the barkings of this old dog would aid the effort, I believe we soon must put out an all points bulletin, search the pubs, alert the authorities, and perhaps contact Deacon Thorndike Andrewes.
Perhaps he’s been taken hostage by the African Bishops, or perhaps eBay is extracting a toll for his humour. In any case, BC must be found!
The hounds may have to be called upon to take up the trail!

I guess we don’t need too many more signs to know that the end is near. Perhaps it would have helped us to know what the literature was, though. Tim LaHaye, Spong, NT Wright, Dostoevsky? Inquiring minds want to know!

Vengeance is mine, says Wendy!
and Eileen, don’t get any ideas!
and it would be a lovely place to finish a book on Dostoevsky, wouldn’t it?

Vestal church’s parting from Episcopal Church not a one-issue decision
By Warren Musselman
As a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, I was disappointed that the June 22 article “Vestal church to sever ties to Episcopal organization” on our separation from the Episcopal Church (TEC) emphasized homosexuality as the issue. The acceptance and blessing of homosexual behavior by TEC is only a symptom of the theological problems that we, and most Anglicans in the world, have with it.
